Weekly Update: July 7

1972 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe

Back in 1972, as arena rock swept the world, Gibson Les Pauls were among the hottest solidbodies around. It was the sound of Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Humble Pie, and The Who – and it was the sound younger guitar players desperately craved.

Up for auction here, this handsome ’72 Les Paul Deluxe has its original mini-humbuckers, hardware, and cherry-sunburst finish, just right for rockin’ a keg party — or 10,000-seat hockey arena.

INTRODUCING:
Weird Noise Pedals x StringTree.co
Special Giveaway: The Death Spiral 🌀

🚨 This week's prize: the Death Spiral Modulated Delay Pedal, a PT2399-based delay with dual LFOs and interactive controls.

Weird Noise Pedals is a small family operated pedal company that came about after many nights of tinkering and teaching myself about circuit design in a walk-in closet and building pedals in a laundry room. All of their pedals are hand built in Astoria, Oregon and their circuits and PCBs are designed in house. The pedal graphics are all original designs and screen printed at Weird Noise.

Key Features:

✅ Dual LFO modulation system (IC-based LFO 1 + transistor-based optical LFO 2)
✅ Built-in OD/fuzz circuit on the "dry" signal for added grit and character
✅ Highly interactive controls encourage experimentation over conventional settings
✅ FLTR control shapes feedback oscillation while taming PT2399 chip noise
✅ Expression pedal input for real-time delay time warping and signal mangling
✅ Fluorescent and UV light reactive finish with included 3D glasses
