Weekend StringTree Update
Thanks for bidding! Back to the Future Limited Edition, Vintage Gibsons, NAMM One-Offs, and more!

Thanks for bidding!
A huge thank you to everyone who participated in the Noel Gallagher Murphy Lab Les Paul auction this week. Your energy, bids, and love for a rare instrument made it one of our most exciting moments yet. The guitar is now heading to its new owner, and we couldn’t be more grateful to this community for showing up in a big way.
During the unforgettable “Enchantment Under the Sea” dance scene in Back to the Future, a cherry red Gibson semi-hollow helped change the course of music history on screen. That moment turned the ES-345 into a cultural artifact.
Gibson Custom’s “1955” Back to the Future ES-345 is a painstaking tribute to that exact guitar and moment. Featuring Murphy Lab aging, a maple/poplar/maple thinline body, center block, 1961 D-neck profile, hand-wired Custombuckers with Alnico III magnets, a mono Varitone switch, aged gold hardware, and Bigsby B7, it captures both the sound and story of the original.
There is even a rare single parallelogram inlay at the 12th fret, matching the unique quirk of the original guitar used in the film. Only 88 were produced by Gibson Custom, an intentional nod to the speed required for time travel.
Included is a custom Lifton case with Marvin Berry & The Starlighters graphics and period-correct case candy, making this one of the most complete and cinematic
Bidding opens November 24
Auctions Live This Week:
A rare pre-war lap steel from the golden age of Hawaiian and early electric guitar music. With its streamlined Art Deco styling and unmistakable voice, this is a cornerstone piece for collectors of early electrics. These don’t surface often, especially in playable condition. |
A bold, vintage-inspired take on a Telecaster classic, finished in a standout paisley pattern that captures serious ’60s rock-and-roll energy, with modern attitude. Built by Harden Engineering with attention to both tone and aesthetic, it offers twang, bite, and unmistakable stage presence. A statement piece that’s just as playable as it is collectible.
NO RESERVE A charming turn-of-the-century mandolin with delicate construction and distinctive bowlback character. These instruments were among the earliest mass-produced American mandolins and are increasingly hard to find intact. A beautiful piece of musical history with undeniable visual appeal. |
A true one-of-a-kind NAMM showpiece, featuring custom artwork and top-tier build quality from Schecter’s Custom Shop. Designed to stand out both visually and sonically, this is equal parts fine art and high-performance instrument. A rare chance to own a piece that will never be replicated.
